GulfCalc is an independent website with free calculators for people who live and work in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. We focus on three everyday needs: VAT, Hijri dates and end-of-service gratuity.

Every tool shows how its result is calculated, which sources it relies on and when it was last reviewed. Rules we have not yet been able to verify are labelled clearly, and the methodology page lists every open question.

All calculations run in your browser, in English and Arabic. You never need an account, and nothing you type is sent to us.

GulfCalc is not affiliated with ZATCA, the Federal Tax Authority, HRSD, MOHRE or any other government body. Results are estimates, not legal, tax or HR advice.

How we review: the GulfCalc editorial team is responsible for every page. Each rule is checked against the official law or authority page and compared with official calculators where they exist. The status of every rule, including anything not yet verified, is listed on the methodology page with the date of the last review. When a rule changes, we update the calculator, its tests and the review date together.
